• Provides seed capital and management expertise
  • Works with inventors to develop scientific and engineering concepts toward commercialization
  • Sources strategic partnerships with researchers, engineers, and product development and testing companies
  • Helps acquire non-dilutive funding prior to later-stage financing (e.g., NIH and foundation grants)
  • Helps secure additional gap funding partners (e.g., Angels, TETF)
  • Arranges for follow-on equity funding and manages the transition process to a more permanent management team
  • Identifies exit opportunities; negotiates downstream agreements (e.g., industry participants, venture firms)
